Dear Students and Parents,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the new academic year 2021-2022. 

The year 2018-2019 was one of paramount importance, as we entered our Emerald Jubilee Year. 

In this Emerald Jubilee year, I have had the privilege of instituting the following major events to further enhance the values of my 69 Institutions under the NES-SVB Group :

1. This sports fest was organized covering the students of all NES-SVB institutions up to our Degree college level.

2. The Eighth Edition of the NES-SVB International Science and Technology Festival 2018, to commemorate the work of Sir C. V. Raman, was celebrated at NES International School Mumbai, Mulund in association with SAIBSA. A number of science competitions, exhibition of projects including some projects from IIT Bombay, were organized for students. Senior scientists and professors from BARC and IIT Bombay graced the programmes.

3. NES Start-Up Fest for College students held on 13th February, 2019 across the country met with huge success.I am extremely happy that our urge for creating our student entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders for tomorrow’s world has enabled us to set up STEAM Research Laboratory, the first of its kind in India for children from Jr. Kg to Class 12 level at NES International School Mumbai, Mulund. The Research Laboratory was inaugurated at the hands of Union AYUSH Minister, Hon’ble Shri. Shripad Yesso Naik on the 56th Foundation Day of NES-SVB Group. This lab aims at imbuing students with a research aptitude and provide hands on experience and visualization of the topics that they are learning. All these events of national importance attracted participants from all over India.

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that SVB UMT High School has been awarded a Mini Science Centre by M/s STEM Learning Pvt. Ltd. – CSR Solutions in Education, an organization that facilitates impactful education with support from corporate partners. The Mini Science Centre will provide practical experience on various Science concepts, enriching the teaching-learning process and helping students enjoy Science and build a strong foundation in the subject. The school is selected as Model School for its BEST STEM Activities.FROM THE FOUNDER-PRESIDENT’S DESK SVB UMT High School has gained an edge over others, making itself more attractive to students and parents, by introducing some novel features like

 [a] Three-tier training scheme for students, teachers and parents,

[b]An Annual Theme for every year to rigorously pursue and achieve students’ higher growth in yearly phases

[c] Workshop for parents for better parenting,

[d] Hobby club, Science club, Language Laboratory for students,

 [e] Class wise Academic talent Parades and Academic Fests, Knowledge Exhibition, (class and subject wise),

[f] 10 Preliminary examinations for std. X to attain absolute perfection,

 [g] Interactive Boards for all the classrooms,

[h] Inculcation of an attitude of service in students through focused programmes aimed at preparing students to be worthy citizens of the nation,

[i] Rigorous training for the students who are performing below average in academics,

[j] Technology and Research laboratory for teachers to enrich the teaching-learning process,

[k] Accelerated learning programme (ALP) for Std. IX.

These achievements would not have been possible without the selfless dedication of our learned and industrious faculty, the supportive parents whose keen interest in the programs of the school, has ever been our great resource in achieving the success that we have attained today. To further advance our achievement, we shall have to strive yet harder and keep up the momentum to reach the zenith of success.

The NES-SVB group not only offers programmes from Kg. to the Doctorate level, but also presents unique subjects such as space science and world peace which are at the frontiers of technology. Education is getting redefined and 21stcentury skills have to be imbued in students through techniques which are even more formidable, especially in this digital world.We cannot afford to remain behind.

Our students must be equipped with the stamina to run longer and faster than before. No efforts will be spared on the part of our institutions and our teachers to gear up our students in this regard. 

Along with my staff, students and alumni, I also look up to my other stakeholders to be partners in this noble venture.

Before I conclude, I heartily pray to the Almighty for divine blessings on my dear students, 

my faculty members and our school parents for another glorious Academic Year 2021-22.
